Oh weekend, how i love thee.

Friday; went on a long leisurely run, nowhere in particular, came home. biked to a fantastic Mexican restaurant, drank Mexican beer, chatted with friends, biked home and watched the fire flies light the sky. Read good book, snuggled with my love.

Sat; slept in. glorious. woke up slowly. made coffee, drank it on the porch with Lynn and Mr. Yim. Sun shone down. Went for a little walk, cleaned the house. Friends came from Colombia! Walked to the Art Fair on the Square, wandered for hours. bought soba noodles, and smoothie. found inspiration. Walked to the co-op/market to buy rum, limes, sugar. Walked home with friends, eating bing cherries. Made mojitos- lots of mojitos! Stripped all the chocolate mint from our mint plant. More friends came and drank mojitos. Listened to music, talked about the world. Talked about all their wonderful journeys around the globe. Laughed.

Sat eve; More friends came, with avocados in hand. Made the best guacamole. Played trivial pursuit purchased for 50 cents in thrift store. Laughed some more.

Sat. night; MANDY arrives! Laughter, memories, more laughter ensue. Dinner at Nattspills... delicious. Walk to dance party where our friend is the DJ. dance, dance, laugh. Walk to Gennas, drink, talk, cards. Hop and skip home. Stop Mandy from jumping in the lake. Tuck Colombian friends into air mattress. Tuck Bass into couch. Crawl into bed with the love of my life. Sleep.

Sun; Sleep in. Coffee. Walk to co-op, buy smoothies. Walk around town- show Mandy our Madison. Dinner on the porch with Lynny and our farmers market finds.
