Grateful

I am grateful for Lynn's arms that hold me close
and never run out of hugs
I am grateful for little kitty noses that give little
wet kitty kisses
for friends who laugh around a big dinner table
for the opportunity to grow
for a chill in the autumn air
for rain today, and all the rubber boots that appeared.
I am grateful for pumpkin oatmeal
for hot tea with cherry juice
for fuzzy blankies.
I am grateful for family who cares,
for skype and my new sister in law,
I am grateful for my education,
and the opportunity to touch peoples lives every day.
