Day 9: mindfully productive

"Simply make peace within and live each moment fully" mary jaksch

If someone could record 24 hours of your life what would they see? What would they see??

Well, me sitting in a coffee shop, drinking a latte....

Seriously though, this question got me thinking. How can we change our days to be filled with meaningful simple productive passionate activities... every day all day...

I think it comes down to loving what you do - loving what you spend your minutes, your hours every single day. If you were unhappy in your job you would spend 8 hour or more every day unhappy... waiting for the quitting time, living for the weekend. Ugh. its draining just thinking about it. So how can we love what we do? Well, first I guess we could figure out what we love, and then do what we love.... well, that sounds pretty easy. But, it could also just be about loving what you do.... cultivating an environment of creativity, expansion, support and find meaning in what you already do.

Maybe its as simple as make peace within and live each moment fully...

(Picture from temple outside of Tokyo. Somehow it is so easy to live each moment fully while traveling, to live in the present, BE just as you are... maybe that is why traveling is so addicting, and why I crave it so often....)
