Oh yes, it is 2011! What an incredible year 2010 was!! Lynn and I got married, moved to MN, started law school, started working as a rheumatology PA, settled into mpls, had our first thanksgiving as a married couple, first christmas married, first first first of a lot of beautiful things.
And now, onto more big and beautiful memories. We leave for New Orleans on Sunday! Lynn is working for the Gulf Restoration Project, continuing to save the world- and I am going to go soak in the beautiful sunshine and history spending days lazing through markets, museums, art stores.... glorious.
Things are going pretty well here. Life is so much more wonderful when you have a partner to share everything with. Every moment seems sweeter, more colorful. Work life is challenging.... but that is keeping it interesting. I am finding ways to maintain my sanity every day.... AND I GET FRIDAYS OFF!! WAHOO!! Lots of time to continue to chase my dreams. So, I am taking the MCAT again in April.... yep, my old score is too old, and the more work I do in medicine the more I realize I want to know more, do more, be more independent.... So, I'm jumping in. My review course starts on Jan 26th 2010! I would also need to finish Ochem Lab, and Physics II prior to starting med school. I am trying to take things one day at a time. Enjoying my marriage with Lynn, trying to foster creative solutions at work, stay focused on living in the moment while trying to plan for the future. It is definitely a daily balancing act. Why is balance so difficult to achieve?
Big things are happening this month, the Parins are moving to a new home, Lynn is going back to school, Lex is coming to Mpls to see us!! It should be a fabulous start to a new year.
